Thank you for sharing this.
Your father inspired me to learn more about science and study a career in Astronomy.

I can't say I know much about Carl, since I merely know him from pictures, "Cosmos" and reading some of his ideas. But I've always thought he was a great man, and what he said about the "A Pale Blue Dot" photograph always draw tears from my eyes, every time I read it.

This is something I posted about him, a little tribute to what I feel about him, since he has inspired and guided me many many times with his words: http://nekrocow.wordpress.com/2012/02/10/frase-de-la-semana-10-02-12/

What you shared in this post tells us about Carl a lot more than any encyclopedia could. Thank you Mr Sagan for giving this precious treasure away.

This is great Nick. It reminds me that although your father's brain was more efficient than most people, he was still a human, like you or me or anyone.
