This is a little out of topic - but do try and watch 'Everything is Illuminated'. It tells of an American Jewish and his quest to find his father's saviour from the Nazis in Ukraine - being both a funny and touching movie.

Lovely books, lovely blog. Thanks for being who you are, and doing what you do! =D

This is going to turn out to be a very off-topic blog, what with jiko and now me. I finally got around to actually buying Idlewild, and it triggered a long chain of thoughts that ended in me wondering if you were going to go on a book tour once Everfree has been published (if you've mentioned this before, I'll make an excuse of my short term memory)? If you are, you should really put Phoenix on your schedule!

Jiko: Very nice compliments--thanks for that, and also for reminding me of "Everything Is Illuminated." I've been meaning to see that film for a while now, but still haven't made the time. I like Liev Schrieber as an actor, and it'll be interesting to see what he does from behind the camera.

Elizabeth: Off-topic comments are fine by me, and I'm glad you found Idlewild thought-provoking. (That's a big part of my job!) I've never been to Phoenix, and I'd love to visit. No plans to tour there right now, but I'll post here and on www.nicksagan.com the moment that changes.

Good luck in getting to both Russia
and Poland one day.

Maybe book tour will take you to
the land of your peoples.

Nick Sagan

That's nice of you, thanks. Hopefully, that'll happen.
