Elizabeth

Congrats with the weight loss! I'm impressed. I'm always very unmotivated when it comes to eating right. I'd like to, but I just don't...although it's rather difficult being a teenager with a busy schedule to have time to find and eat good meals, but that's no excuse.

Nick Sagan

Thanks, Elizabeth! I know what you mean--finding time for eating right can be tricky, and for years I just didn't bother with it. Metabolism plays a part, so the younger you are, the easier it is to get away with eating poorly. You might not have to worry about this for a while. Still, if you're curious, I highly recommend calorieking.com and whfoods.com. They're great resources to find out just how good or bad your choices really are.

Calorieking is the best :-) For a wealth (sometimes overwhelming) of info about using calorie counts to figure out what's going on, I find http://www.hussmanfitness.org/ to be my favorite resource :-)

Sorry and everything but this has nothing to do with this post. I seriously think you should make a film of Idlewild, it would be really good to see it on screen.

Nick Sagan

Tobias: Hussman's site is fascinating. A bit overwhelming, I agree, but I'm glad you turned me on to it. Thanks for the tip!

SD: I expect 25 gives you some time before you really need to worry about your diet, but on the other hand it's never too early to have good habits.

Matt: I'm with you. I'd love to see an Idlewild movie, and we're trying to make that happen. Nothing to report yet, but when I've got news I'll post here and on the www.nicksagan.com website.
