Just turned 40 myself recently and doing well. Thinking also about how lucky we are to be conscious in this universe, so the video of your father and Stephen Hawking proved very meaningful. So glad you saw that wonderful tribute.

Are you on Twitter by any chance?

Happy Belated Birthday Nick! Hope all is well with you. I friended you a while back on Myspace...although now I rarely visit there, having been sucked into the Facebook world. If you ever make it to Texas, I'll be sure to drop by and say hi in person.

I am definitely a huge fan of your Star Trek episodes. My favorite episode of TNG has always been "Attached" (apparently it took the brilliant Nick Sagan to finally address the Picard/Crusher relationship in a meaningful and honest manner) and my favorite season in all of Star Trek history is season 5 of Voyager. Particularly nice job on "Relativity," by the way. I look forward to reading your books.

Good to hear it. I don't remember if I told you, but when I met Phil Plait and Carolyn Porco I mentioned how much I adore you. (you told me that she was a family friend.) Any way, she was really nice!

Thanks again for the copy of Shrapnel and Idlewild, and congrats on the film adaptation. Glad to hear all is well. Take care!
